Spring Feeding

As we come in to spring we like to give our bees a super boost to help them ramp up brood production and strengthen the hive. We never feed while supers are on the hive so that it ensures our honey only comes from nectar and pollen that the bees collect and not from the sugar syrup that is just used to help with brood production. In the spring we feed 1:1 sugar syrup with a special Bee Strong additive that provides all the essential amino acids the bees need to ramp up brood production and build out comb.
